Primary Health Care Districs: The Experience Of Andalucia

Abstract

The establishment of the Primary Care Districs has suposed a very important change of the management and functions of the Andalusian health services. This experience, implies the creation of a* specific administration of resources for the new primary care level. In this paper we analize the main strategic development lines (management descentralization, supply of health services in accordance with an integrated health concept -P.H.C. model-coordination between levels, community involvement) and some determinating factors of these strategies.
