Description of the Influente Area of an Urban Primary Health Care Center

Abstract

The geografical distribution of the population coming to our Primary Health Care Center. is described as well as the rata of Dependece on the Stablishment for the Special Services supplied according to this distribution. The neccesity of a better knowdedge of the real characteristies in the Area of Attraction, from the point of view of epidemiology and health management, is emphatized in contrast with thre normatively prescribed delimitation. An easy method. based on documents in large use in the Primary Health Care units in Spain, is proposed to study the rates of Dependence on the Stablishment as well as its Area of Attraction.
