Abstract

Two recent judgements of the European Court of Human Rights —Folgero and others v. Norway and Hasan and Eylem Zengín v. Turkey— define the essential content of the parents right to choose the kind of education that shall be given to their children (Protocol 1-Article 2). This work analyzes the European Court of Human Rights doctrine about this fundamental right that can be deduced from this judgements.
