Abstract

The European Energy Policy’s main challenge is to ensure the supply of energy from abroad in an international context that is becoming ever more competitive. Among all the initiatives, the development of new infrastructure to help diversify the energy supply has become one of the main activities pursued by the European Union. Due to geopolitical and technical issues, the Southern Corridor has too many uncertainties, unless Iran becomes the main supplier of it, but the international sanction against Iran, including the Europeans, makes it impossible any energy corporations, thereby, affecting the entire European’s energy strategy.
