About the Journal
Historia Social is a four-monthly academic journal, independent and plural, specialized in modern and contemporary times, which aims to disseminate historical research and historiographical reflections with intellectual rigor.
New Epoch.
Historia Social enters a new stage in 2024 and from now on will offer greater access to its contents as it will be published in digital format, open and without temporary embargo of contents. Articles from previous issues will be progressively incorporated, facilitating the consultation of nearly nine hundred texts that have occupied its pages.
The collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) allows the journal to be hosted on its server and accessed on the OJS platform.
Historia Social also begins a new journey in 2024 through an alliance with Editorial Comares, which will share with the Fundación Instituto de Historia Social the commitment to promote the journal and provide printed copies to readers who request them.
