Francisco Chacón Jiménez, Universidad de Murcia

Professor of Modern History at the University of Murcia. Founder and director since 1982 of the Family and Power Elite Seminar. His most notable and recent works include the co-editing (with J. Bestrad) of Familias. Historia de la sociedad española (del final de la Edad Media a nuestros días) [Cátedra, 2011]; El viaje de las familias en la sociedad española. Veinte años de historiografía [2014]; and the edition (with G. Delille), Marriages and Alliance.
