Las traducciones de la poesía de Coleridge al castellano

Resumen

La traducción de la obra poética de Coleridge al castellano tiene ya un siglo de tradición. Hasta la fecha, hemos localizado un total de quince traducciones al castellano de diversas composiciones del autor. El objetivo fundamental de este trabajo es el de dar a conocer tales traducciones al tiempo que se analizan algunos aspectos fundamentales de las mismas en lo que respecta a su orientación hacia la adecuación o la aceptabilidad. Por otro lado, en una primera parte se comentará el canon del autor que se ha ido configurando a través de estas traducciones. Palabras clave: Traducción de poesía, Coleridge. Abstract The Translations of Coleridge's Poetry into Spanish María Eugenia PEROJO ARRONTE Coleridge's poetry has been translated into Spanish for one century now. So far, the author of this paper has been able to find fifteen translations of different compositions by Coleridge. The basic aim of this article is to make them known and to analyze their characteristics mainly as regards their orientation towards adequacy or acceptability. On the other hand, in the first part of this work, Coleridge's canon as it has been made up throughout these translations will be presented. Key words: Translation of poetry, Coleridge.
