<b>Kindernovelle</b>, introducción a un modelo de análisis didáctico del texto origen y la labor de documentación necesaria para la traducción literaria

Abstract

El relato “Kindernovelle” del escritor alemán Klaus Mann sirve para exponer un modelo de método de crítica pedagógica. En el presente artículo se analiza el texto origen abarcando los factores extratextuales e intratextuales del mismo, se clasifican los problemas de traducción, se estudia la traducción elegida del relato, se valora y se hace una propuesta de traducción. En este modelo se destaca, principalmente, la labor de documentación necesaria para la traducción literaria, imprescindible para un profundo análisis del texto origen y una correcta traducción. Abstract Kindernovelle, an Introduction to a Model of Didactic Analysis of the Source Text and the Necessary Documentation for Literary Translation Ana MUÑOZ GASCÓN This research aims at providing a didactic example of translation quality assessment. In order to achieve this, we will focus on the Klaus Mann´s short story, “Kindernovelle”. Thus, after analysing the source text, we will take into account both extratextual and intratextual factors. Then, the various translation problems are classified. Finally, we will assess the target text and a new proposal of translation is offered. In this model of analysis, we will pay special attention to the background information needed to perform the translation of the literary text, which is an essential requirement for the analysis of the source text and the production of the corresponding target text.
