Abstract

This paper examines the erosional forms in a calcareous bedrock channel, in a meander of the Tambuc Rambla
(Caroig platform, Valencia). The paper has been written in order to clarify some comments made by Santisteban
(2014). Our work aims to solve any possible confusion or controversy on the nature of three forms
identified in this bedrock channel, flutes, strath terraces and pseudo-ripples (hummocky forms), and presents
some observations on the current hydrogemorphological dynamic of this Mediterranean ephemeral river.
