Abstract
An evolution model of the fluvial network of the Guadalquivir middle watercourse is proposed in three stages. A first phase would have a dentritic pattern and E-W predominant directions. In the lower pleistocene, derived from paleo-Guadalquivir river migration to the north, would have organized another model pattern similar to the current fluvial model with SE-NW predominant directions. Later, a new erosion phase during upper-middle pleistocene, would have generated the last fluvial captures and terrace deposits, 40 meters above the current alluvial plain of the Guadajoz and Galapagares rivers.
