Jurisdiccional control of constitucionality and conventionality in México

Abstract

This article analyzes the bird and development of jurisdiccional control of constitutional and conventionaliyi in México. The historical and political circunstances in which created in the 1841 Constitution of the State of Yucatán and in the Constitutive and Reform Act of 1847; its consolidation in the Constitution of 1857; the proceedings of controversies that set forth in the Constitution of 1917 and whose regulation was expanded in the constitutional reform of 1994; and finally the actions of inconstitutionality, which were introduced with this latest reform. Since the constitutional reform of 2011, the Supreme Court of Justice change its intepretation of the control systems of constitutionality and conventionality.
