Rururbanización, suburbanización y reconcentración de la tierra: efectos espaciales de instrumentos rurales en las áreas periurbanas de Chile
Abstract
Chile ha experimentado fuertes transformaciones en su espacio rural y periurbano a partir de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Algunos estudios analizan las implicaciones espaciales a escala nacional y regional de los instrumentos rurales (leyes, decretos y políticas). Sin embargo no se ha avanzado en conocer este fenómeno a nivel local. Esta investigación apunta a comprender la dinámica de la rururbanización, suburbanización y reconcentración de la tierra en las áreas periurbanas. Para ello incorporamos estos conceptos en la metodología y examinamos su variación temporal en los resultados. Finalmente, discutimos el rol del Estado en relación con el uso de instrumentos en el espacio periurbano y proponemos un modelo con cuatro tipologías de comunas urbano-rurales en Chile.
