El cierre de la central nuclear valenciana de Cofrentes: ¿amenaza u oportunidad para su comarca?
Abstract
Este artículo se centra en el estudio de la realidad territorial de la comarca valenciana del Valle de Ayora-Cofrentes, cuya economía actual depende en gran medida de la central nuclear de Cofrentes. La vida útil de dicha central está cercana a su fin y, cuando cierre, la economía comarcal sufrirá un impacto del que será difícil recuperarse. La capacidad de respuesta de la comunidad será crucial en la futura planificación económica del Valle de Ayora-Cofrentes, que debería impulsarse desde los agentes sociales locales y basarse en los recursos propios. Analizaremos algunos enfoques teóricos recientes dentro de los estudios rurales como la resiliencia comunitaria y las regiones en decrecimiento.
