Capital social y LEADER. Los recursos generados entre 1996 y 2006
Abstract
El enfoque del capital social aporta un punto de vista interesante al análisis de las dinámicas de cambio y desarrollo que tienen lugar en los territorios. En el ámbito de las zonas rurales se puso en marcha en los años noventa la iniciativa LEADER para el desarrollo rural que llevaba intrínseca una filosofía que venía a promover la generación del capital social en estos territorios. Un elemento clave para este proceso lo constituían los Grupos de Acción Local, que debían ser los encargados de gestionar estos programas. En este trabajo se analiza la capacidad de estos Grupos para generar capital social, deteniéndose en los diferentes componentes que permiten hablar de distintas formas del mismo.
