Sección monográfica: Los efectos de la pandemia en la demografía del mundo rural y estrategias de desarrollo

Abstract
La COVID-19 ha tenido un enorme impacto en ámbitos tan diversos como el sanitario, el social, el económico o el demográfico, también en las zonas rurales que, en teoría, estuvieron un poco más alejadas de los focos urbanos. Era evidente que sus dimensiones territoriales y sociodemográficas debían ser objeto de análisis por parte de diferentes especialistas. Por esta razón, el Grupo de Trabajo de Geografía de la Población, de la Asociación Española de Geografía, los departamentos de Geografía de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) y de la Universitat de Barcelona (UB) y el Centre d’Estudis Demogràfics consideraron oportuna y necesaria la organización de un seminario que permitiera que diferentes disciplinas compartieron perspectivas analíticas, rigurosas y complementarias.
