Abstract

Two outcrops of dinosaur footprints from the Upper Cretaceous of the Pyrenees (Garumnian facies), South of the village of Moror (Tremp Basin), are described for the fi rst time. The footprints of the stratigraphically highest outcrop are preserved in marly limestone; their dimensions and morphology indicate theropods. This is the first reference of theropod footprints from the Upper Cretaceous Tremp Basin and the Pyrenees. The stratigraphically lowest outcrop is made of somewhat marly limestones that are very bioturbated, and are damage by mudcracks, and reveals larger and deeper footprints, assigned here to ornithopods and possible hadrosaurs. This is the first reference of hadrosaurs footprints from the Upper Cretaceous of the Tremp Basin.
