Abstract

The article explores the exceptional and ordinary measures provided for in the Spanish Constitution which are available as alternatives to article 155 in the case of political crises caused by the behavior of the authorities of the Autonomous Communities. The authors are skeptical in this regard due to the weakness of such alternatives, or because their character of ordinary control, not exceptional, and highlighting the conceptual relationships between them in the framework of a systematic and preventive understanding of the Constitution.
