Abstract

This article aims to delimit the principle of solidarity in relation to other similar principles of territorial organization (constitutional loyalty, unity and autonomy, coordination, collaboration, etc.) and to specify its scope through the specific instruments in which it can be translated (81.1, 139.1, 149.1 CE). To do so, we will start with the emergence and evolution of the concept of solidarity, as well as the dimensions that this principle presents (compensatory, transformative, static, dynamic, personal, territorial, temporal, positive and negative), in order to classify the model of solidarity determined in the Spanish Constitution and in the constitutional bloc. As the basis for our analysis we will use the kaleidoscope theory, as it will contribute to a greater precision of the results.
