Abstract

The aim of this paper is to reexamine the traditional limits to the free movement of persons on grounds of public order, public health or safety in the context of the current crisis in the EU, as well as its relationship with the emergence of new restrictions on economic grounds in order to discern to what extent all these recent developments would erode the European citizenship.
