Abstract

Updates on the Basic Document of Protection Against Noise (Dcc-DB-HR) (CTE, 8th April, 2016) in the section "Control of the finished construction" substituted the standard UNE EN ISO 140-4 by UNE EN ISO 16283-1, although after that, it was rectified to the use of the derogated standard. The present work focuses on the comparison between both standards and describes the main technical changes that will affect to both technicians and administration staff. 16 experimental measurement series were undertaken in public buildings with different purpose (sanitary, educational, cultural and administrative). Results obtained from the 'in situ' measurements comparing both standards showed no significant differences between the insulation values according the application of each standard.
