Abstract

This article presents the potential problem represented by the availability of the infinity of variables and data offered by Industry 4.0, which opens up the possibility to understand or use data in a biased or incorrect manner. In relation to this problem, the study presents the specific phenomenon of p-hacking as the search for the fulfillment of a specification through the tracking of data that demonstrates it, and delves into how to deal with this relatively new phenomenon.
