Abstract

With a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) the detection of emotions from the electroencephalographic signal (EEG) can be achieved, as reported by Murugappan, et. al. and other similar jobs. However, one of the opportunities identified for improving these methods was developed by Aparicio Garcia, et al. To the by discrete wavelet decomposition, executed as a feature extraction process, followed by the selection of more separable features, and the classification , seeking for the classifier to be able to train in a non-intensive way, and equalizing conditions such as features, number of channels, and associated emotions.
