Abstract

This research work consists in the design of a rotor axis for experimental purposes which aim to develop educational skills in the area of Mechatronics engineering through the study of mechanical vibrations, in which a proposed teaching-learning methodology is present for a didactic prototype and how this process contributes in order to achieve knowledge for the students. This study presents an analysis to calculate critic velocities through theoretical analysis and calculations; also this work presents a procedure for laboratory practices in order to calculate unbalance and critic velocity.
