Abstract

The design, building, calibration and application of an acquisition board of low cost in building and programming for eight temperature levels, is documented in this work. Once having hardware devices: AVR ATMEGA48PA, MAX232, AD595CQ & HCF4051BE, interconnected; the C-language Firmware interrelates them to show temperature measurements on a PC screen using the HyperTerminal program. A multiple temperature register, able to measure from 150°C up to 720°C with an uncertainty of ?4°C, was obtained; nevertheless it has the capacity to measure up to 1300°C.
