DYNA CLASSROOM: ECONOMIC DIAMETER PIPING IN thermal power plants.
Abstract
The steam of water that flows through the pipes destroys exergy. This is due to the friction of the flow and the heat dissipated through the insulation that surrounds them. For a given flow rate, if we put less diameter line, we reduce the cost of installation, but at the expense of increasing the speed of the flow, causing greater friction and, as a result, a greater destruction exergetica in exploitation. Are thus two competing interests that would have to optimize.Downloads
