Variáveis ​​associadas ao desempenho de uma equipa europeia masculina de rugby profissional. Análise da temporada regular

Resumo

O principal objetivo deste estudo foi identificar a relação entre os parâmetros de desempenho e a probabilidade de uma equipe ganhar ou perder durante os jogos da temporada regular. Foi realizado um estudo observacional retrospectivo de um time profissional de rugby com trinta jogadores e dezesseis jogos da temporada regular. As análises incluíram as seguintes métricas: lance aberto, sucesso na linha de ganho, falha na linha de ganho, passe bom, passe médio, passe ruim, chute bom, chute médio, chute ruim, ruck efetivo, ruck ineficaz, tackle dominante, tackle neutro, tackle passivo, assistido tackle, tackle falhado, defensor em posição, bom offload, chute em campo, chute em campo sem sucesso, bola perdida, interceptação, virada, quebra de linha, cartão amarelo, cartão vermelho, pênalti concedido, try marcado, lesão, jogador fora, jogador ligado, pontapé bem sucedido à baliza, pontapé falhado à baliza, alinhamento lateral, alinhamento lateral ganho, scrum, scrum ganho, regresso ao jogo, velocidade do ruck e finalização do tackle. Nenhum parâmetro único poderia estar diretamente relacionado ao lucro ou prejuízo. No entanto, quatro parâmetros, quando agrupados, podem ser associados à vitória durante a temporada analisada (r = 0,897, r2 = 0,805, ajustado r = 0,635, p<0,05): winline success (p<0,002), ruck effecti -vo (p<0,009 ), tackle dominante (p<0,018) e tackle assistido (p<0,029). Nesse contexto específico, treinadores e profissionais devem estar mais atentos a essas ações específicas para melhorar o desempenho da equipe.
