Abstract. Objective: To analyze the influence of altitude on the physical condition of soccer players in training and competition situations. Methodology: This systematic review corresponds to the literature available in the Scopus, Ebsco Host, Science Direct and PubMed databases, developed with the PRISMA methodology, in a range of 6 years (2014 - 2020), using the keywords (Soc- cer) and (altitude) and (physical condition) and (training) or (competition). Results: Analysis categories were created in QDA Miner Lite v 2.0.7 software. for the description of the variables. 1887 records were retrieved, of which 10 articles were eligible. The methodological quality of the documents was carried out according to Law (1998). Conclusion: the benefits of height are verifiable in training and competition in intermittent sports, but still require the creation of more specific plans in soccer.

Keywords: Soccer, altitude, training, competition, physical condition.
