La presentación del yo en Tinder. Un análisis del capital erótico y la identidad mediante inteligencia artificial

Este artículo analiza la presentación de la identidad en Tinder, una plataforma donde los perfiles son el principal medio de contacto y las imágenes desempeñan un papel central en la presentación del yo. A partir de un conjunto de 8.175 perfiles en Madrid recogidos mediante web scraping, se aplican técnicas de inteligencia artificial para evaluar el capital erótico expresado en las imágenes y para clasificar las biografías según su sentido, referencia y atribución. Los resultados muestran que las mujeres heterosexuales exhiben un mayor capital erótico que otros grupos. En contraste con estudios anteriores, las mujeres homosexuales y los perfiles menos elaborados se asocian con la búsqueda de sexo casual, mientras que los hombres homosexuales y los perfiles más completos se orientan hacia relaciones afectivas. Finalmente, las autodefiniciones subjetivas tienden a vincularse con la búsqueda de vínculos emocionales, mientras que las descripciones objetivas se relacionan más frecuentemente con encuentros sexuales ocasionales.
