La teoría de las Relaciones Internacionales en los albores del siglo XXI: diálogo, disidencia, aproximaciones

El artículo considera las tres principales tendencias en la actual teorización en Relaciones internacionales. La primera es el diálogo que los autores neorrealistas y neoliberales (o institucionalistas) han mantenido por más de una década y que gira en torno a las posibilidades de la cooperación internacional. La segunda es el llamamiento a la disidencia y/o a la reestructuración de la disciplina por parte de los enfoques “reflectivistas”: teoría crítica, postmodernismos y feminismos. La tercera es el intento de alcanzar una síntesis de los enfoques tradicionales y los reflectivistas, intento realizado tanto des de la nueva teoría constructivista como desde la perspectiva clásica de la sociedad internacional.
