Los problemas de traducción del monólogo interior: <i>Bella del Señor</i>

Resumen

El artículo apunta las dificultades de traducción de los monólogos interiores. Los problemas de coherencia de estos textos así como su difícil comprensión hacen que el traductor deba primero compensar estas lagunas, casi siempre desde una perspectiva pragmática. Trasladar ese enunciado aparentemente incoherente requiere un estudio complejo del texto con la dificultad añadida de no poder apoyarse en el análisis sintáctico pues el texto es a menudo agramatical. Abstract The Problems Associated to the Translation of the Stream of Consciousness: Bella del Señor María Azucena MACHO VARGAS This paper reviews the difficulties involved in the translation of the stream of consciousness. The coherence problems related to these texts and their difficult comprehension force the translator, in the first term, to fill these gaps by means of a pragmatic approach. The translation of these seemingly incoherent texts calls for a coplex study of the text, with the extra difficulty of not being able to make use of the syntactic analysis as a support because the text is often agrammatical.
