Abstract

In the process of analysis of the supply chain, different approaches can be adopted with the objective of evaluating the factors involved in the process of production-distribution of the final product, where the flows of information and material are involved, one of these approaches corresponds to the simulation tools, in this field of study there have been notable efforts such as the standardization of output data. Tako and Robinson establish that system dynamics simulation is more used at a strategic level compared to discrete simulation, confirming its usefulness in decision making and the analysis of the feedback effect of the system.
