Abstract

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A VIBRATION CLAMP FOR AGRICULTURE PURPOSES In the last years, the olive industry had a substantial technological development as a result of employing mechanical devices during harvest of the olive fruits from olive plantations. This process is very important for the future of the olive oil industry since it increases the profitability of this business making it easier the land work. In this paper, the design process and stress analysis of an orbital clamp vibrator is presented. Results make it possible to identify the critical elements and therefore to study their durability. By employing inverse engineering techniques it is possible optimize the original design.
