Desplazamientos saludables y sostenibles desde la infancia: una perspectiva psicoambiental del camino a la escuela

Resumen

El desplazamiento activo al colegio y los programas de camino escolar que lo fomentan contribuyen a la salud y autonomía infantil y a ciudades más sostenibles. Para analizar los predictores de la participación en el programa de Donostia-San Sebastián, incluyendo el miedo parental al delito, se encuestó a 819 progenitores de escolares de primaria. Mediante regresión logística jerárquica y análisis de dominancia, el modelo —con un 58% de varianza explicada— reveló que la seguridad y calidad percibida de la ruta, el modo de transporte parental y la distancia casa-escuela eran los predictores más relevantes. El tipo de escuela, la disponibilidad de coches, la autoeficacia del menor y el vínculo vecinal tenían contribuciones menores, mientras que el miedo al delito no fue significativo. Se discuten implicaciones para la práctica y la transmisión intergeneracional del desplazamiento activo.
