Coordination university teaching: challenges and problems from Bologna

Resumen

Traditionally, university curricula have been characterized by discipline disconnection. At present the university is in a process of change and cultural transformation where fortunately the new university rebel coordination and cooperation as fundamental structures on which to articulate a new model of teaching, professional and organizational development. These are not new or unknown mechanisms in education, but in the university context introduces a new culture based on networking among teachers or collaborative professional relationships that can blossom a new way of understanding the teaching profession and the university educational process, a fundamental structure on which to develop joint activities, which tends increasingly towards a shared culture.  This work is a continuity of the Projects of Innovation that it has as purpose analyze and think over on the process of implementation of the new Degrees for the improvement of the University teaching. his paper, more concretely highlights the coordination can be understood as one of the key elements which are articulated in the new qualifications for smooth operation, under Bologna. In short, coordination in this scenario assumes an important role, reflect on the problems and challenges in the university contributions from teachers. Nobody doubts the benefits and the need for coordination to improve the educational process but what is really happening in the spanish universities?
